Distinguished Alumni

This award is given to alumni who have made significant contributions to their profession, community and educational organizations through recognized leadership.

Requirements

The recipient must demonstrate service to the field through participation in in-service, professional development or consulting activities. Also, evidence of contributing to improve the quality of education through 1) teaching or 2) administration, 3) guidance and counseling, 4) research on teaching or instruction, 5) child or adolescent learning/behavior in a school or educational setting, 6) adult and continuing education is expected.
