As part of this celebratory year, we were pleased to honor 50 educators with the Crystal Apple Award. Inaugurated in 1995, the Crystal Apple Award honors educators personally selected by donors as being representative of excellence and commitment. Teachers, professors, administrators and counselors - active, retired or deceased - currently or previously employed in a learning community, from preschool through the university level, are eligible to receive the award. Honorees need not be affiliated with Michigan State University. If you are interested in honoring an educator with a Crystal Apple Award, contact Michelle Mertz-Stoneham, assistant director of development for the college at mertzsto@msu.edu or by phone at 517.432.1983.
