Sean Kottke, who received his Ph.D. in educational psychology and educational technology in fall 2007, has fulfilled a long-time dream to appear on Jeopardy!

His participation in the TV game show (of which he can't yet disclose the outcome) will air at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11 on WILX-TV, or Channel 10 in the Lansing area.

Kottke, who still lives in Lansing, is currently on the faculty of the Binda School of Education at Robert B. Miller College in Battle Creek, Mich. He teaches courses on reading and language arts teaching methods, educational technology, educational psychology and young adult literature. Kottke's Ph.D. advisor was Mark Conley.
