Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education
The faculty in the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education study human learning and development across the life span and provide an important array of conceptual, technical, and therapeutic perspectives to the study of learning in a wide variety of contexts. The department offers programs in counseling; counseling psychology; educational psychology; educational technology; measurement and quantitative methods; rehabilitation counseling; school psychology; and special education.

Department of Educational Administration
The faculty in the Department of Educational Administration prepare future leaders and managers for responsible positions in a variety of educational organizations that address the needs of many types of learners. Programs are available in higher, adult, and lifelong education; adult and continuing education; student affairs administration; and elementary and secondary (K-12) educational administration.

Department of Kinesiology
The faculty in the Department of Kinesiology are committed to the concept that physical activity is inextricably linked to the biological, psychological, and social well being of children and youth. Programs are available in biomechanics of sport and physical activity, motor behavior, physiology of exercise, sports administration and coaching, psychosocial aspects of sport and physical activity, and athletic training.

Department of Teacher Education
The faculty in the Department of Teacher Education focus on issues of teaching, learning, and learning to teach in elementary and secondary classrooms. Students can develop a course of study in: teaching and learning in a particular subject area (math education, science education, literacy/English education, or social studies education); teacher preparation and teacher learning; educational policy and social analysis; or a field that cuts across one or more of these areas.
