Graduate Research Assistant

The ME.ET project is looking for a graduate student to help with data analysis and data management. Qualifications include: strong background in statistics including item response theory and multilevel modeling. Must be familiar with SAS, SPSS and IRT programs such as BilogMG. The RA will work with a dataset of over 1000 respondents to analyze student learning in a multilevel model.

The ME.ET project is focused on mathematics classes for future elementary teachers. We are collecting data from 70 institutions in three states. The project is funded by the National Science Foundation and is finishing the second of five years. This position is a 50% appointment, and can possibly extend for another year after 2007-8. Summer funding is not guaranteed but may be possible.
