Semesters Offered: Fall/Spring/Summer
Duties: Teaching duties of KIN 101-118, “Physical Education Activities.” Ability to teach a variety of activities in areas such as aquatics, combative sports, aerobics, general conditioning, power walking, gymnastics, bowling, golf, team sports and racquet sports.

Desired Qualifications: Essential functions of teaching KIN 101-118 include the ability to (a) detect and correct skill and performance errors, and (b) demonstrate correct skill techniques. In addition, all activity instructors are required to maintain current First Aid and CPR Certification.
Orientation and Training: Graduate assistants are required to attend orientation prior to the start of fall semester that includes participation in the All-University TA program. Staff development activities include participation in in-service workshops as well as policy staff meetings throughout the academic year.
Mentoring and Monitoring: Graduate assistants are observed and evaluated at least once each semester. Written and verbal feedback is provided after each observation. Copies of the written evaluation, course materials, and SIRS are kept in the graduate assistant’s file.
