Duties/Requirements: Assist in teaching of online course, including: preparation of course materials, facilitation of online whole-class and small-group discussions, feedback and grading of student assignments.

Desired Qualifications:
Completion of CEP 900 OR SME 926
Teaching assistants must be able to communicate effectively and have taken and passed the SPEAK test.
Enrollment in a PhD program in the College of Education
Training: Teaching assistants will undergo an orientation session with the supervising faculty a week prior to the first day of the course.
Mentoring and Monitoring: Teaching assistants’ performance will be monitored by the supervising faculty throughout the semester and verbal feedback will be provided. A written evaluation of the teaching assistant will be provided after the end of the course.
Evaluation: Written evaluation of the teaching assistant’s performance will be provided at the end of the course.
