Signing Spartans is a group whose goal is to increase the use and awareness of American Sign Language at MSU and to bring to the forefront those issues affecting the Deaf community on campus, in Michigan, across the US and around the world.
MSU's ASL Living/Learning Option
MSU provides a living and learning option for students of all majors with some proficiency in American Sign Language. The dorm floor provides an opportunity for students to live together and practice ASL during daily communication and study as well as engage in activities focused on ASL and Deaf culture. Deaf Chat Coffee is a website that is dedicated to providing information about coffee social events across the USA.
SODA - Signers and Others for Deaf Awareness - is a group of students, faculty, staff, and community members at Lansing Community College who organize monthly events of interest to ASL users.
