Special Education/Deaf Education: Admission Process
Individuals seeking to become certified as a Teacher of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in the State of Michigan must be formally admitted into the College of Education as well as seek admission into the Deaf Education Program. The Deaf Education Program has implemented a PROPOSED undergraduate application process.
Special Education: Program Requirements
Students intending to qualify for a provisional teaching certificate in the State of Michigan with a Deaf Education endorsement must complete certain University course/program requirements.
Michigan Test for Teacher Certification
All Michigan teachers are required to take Teacher Certification tests. The MTTC WebSite will offer registration for testing, sample tests as well as unofficial score reporting.
