Application and Registration
Even though students will not complete a full maters degree program, we recommend they apply and register as masters degree students. This allows them the option to apply many of the 18 credits to future MSU degrees (Graduate School time limits permitting).
Students may select to register under Graduate Certification status and avoid paying matriculation fees if they do not plan to earn any future degrees with MSU. Students should understand that they cannot transfer more than 9 Graduate Certification credits onto any MSU degree program. Students who decide to earn credits under the Graduate Certification status must still register with the Department. To do this, please contact Christi Moggie at k12adm@msu.edu.
