Ballot Initiatives as Policy Alternatives

January 26, 2004 This session is designed to examine the strategy of using ballot initiatives as a process for impacting public policy. Through the use of case studies, an expert panel will discuss the outcome and impact of two recent ballot initiatives introduced in Michigan. The panel members will discuss their roles in this process and their perspectives on the use and effectiveness of ballot initiatives in the policy process. This session was developed by the Ballot Initiatives as Policy Alternatives Learning Team. |
