Bryan Beverly is the Acting Director of the College of Education’s Office of K-12 Outreach at Michigan State University, where his work is centered on school turnaround efforts and instructional leadership. Dr. Beverly received his doctorate in Educational Policy from MSU. Previously, Dr. Beverly worked as an education consultant for the KRA Corporation and the Lansing School District. Other previous professional experiences include work with the President’s Council of State Universities, Michigan; the State of Michigan, Office of the Governor; GEAR-UP, MSU; and the Michigan Association of Counties. Dr. Beverly holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Anthropology from Olivet College and a master’s degree in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education Administration from MSU. He is an alum of Michigan's Educational Policy Fellowship Program and a current Co-Coordinator of the Program, as well as a Trustee on the Lansing Board of Education.

Amanda is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Master of Public Policy. She is a graduate of the EPFP 2018-2019 cohort and looks forward to her first year as Co-Coordinator for Michigan’s EPFP. Amanda deepened her interest in Education Policy as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of K-12 Outreach during her MPP studies, and now works as a Policy and Legislative Specialist. In her role, she monitors legislative activity related to education policy in the state of Michigan, attends committee hearings and provides policy updates to the staff in the Office of K-12 Outreach and the College of Education. When Amanda is not working on policy issues, she loves to spend time in Northern Michigan on Glen Lake and travel to new places.

Marcia Docks serves as Coordinator of Special Projects for the Office of K-12 Outreach in the College of Education at Michigan State University. She supports the conceptual design and development of training content, program operations and communications. Prior to coming to MSU, she served as Senior Mentor Support Specialist at Michigan Virtual (MV), where she led the development of a statewide program for mentors of K-12 students enrolled in online courses. Previously she served as a secondary science teacher in the Chicago Public Schools and in Louisville, Kentucky. Marcia was recognized as a Golden Apple Scholar while obtaining her M. A. in Teaching from Concordia University, Chicago. She is a graduate of the 2011-12 Michigan EPFP and a member of the 2012-13 Global EPFP, with a field study in China. She is currently working on her dissertation in pursuit of an Ed.D. in Leadership Education at Spalding University. Her research interests include education policy, human development theory and human-scale assessment methods.

Dan Schultz is Senior Policy and Program Advisor for the Office of K-12 Outreach in the College of Education at Michigan State University. He also co-leads the Global Education Policy Fellowship Program, a partnership program with The Institute for Educational Leadership. His international experience includes organizing and leading study tours to China, India, Botswana, Bhutan, Germany, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. His background includes executive leadership and policy roles in state government in Michigan, where he was Assistant State Superintendent and Director of Technology and Grants for the Michigan Department of Education. He holds academic degrees in economics and education administration, and for 38 years led the Michigan Education Policy Fellowship Program (MI EPFP). Dan is the recipient of the Institute for Educational Leadership's National Leadership Award, the MSU College of Education Alumni Association's Distinguished Alumni Award and the International Friendship Award from the Faculty of Education at China’s Southwest University.
