The Annual University Awards Convocation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2007 in the Pasant Theater, Wharton Center. The ceremony will begin at 3:00 pm. The ceremony will consist of the President's State of the University Address and recognition of the recipients of the awards listed below.

Following faculty, staff and student from the College of Education have received University Awards.

• Teacher Scholar Award in recognition of dedication and success in teaching
  Lynn Fendler, Teacher Education
  
• Outreach Scholarship Community Partnership Award in recognition of a mutually beneficial sustained campus-community research partnership
  Randi Nevins Stanulis, Teacher Education
  
• Distinguished Academic Staff Award to academic specialists and MSU-Extension academic staff in recognition of their significant accomplishments and distinguished careers
  Sharon Anderson Schwille, Teacher Education
  
• Excellence-In-Teaching Citations Award to graduate assistants in recognition of dedication and success in meeting classroom responsibilities
  Marcy Britta Wood, Teacher Education
