How to Apply

The College of Education's various graduate programs all maintain current Web sites, which include detailed information about application procedures and timelines. You may also direct inquiries to the College of Education Student Affairs Office. University graduate admissions information is available on the MSU Web site at http://www.msu.edu/user/gradschl/apply.htm. You must apply online, and the application fee is $50, payable via credit card. Although the graduate programs may have slightly different deadlines, to be eligible for all sources of financial aid, your application must be completed by December 1. Those completing their applications after that date will have significantly fewer opportunities for support.

All college doctoral programs require the General Test of the Graduate Record Examination. Be certain to have all of your scores (verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing) forwarded directly to MSU, with copies to your program.

To obtain application materials and more information, complete this form (PDF format), and return it to the College of Education Student Affairs Office.
