Upon admission to the College of Education, Elementary students are assigned to a team based on their anticipated internship location as follows:

Lansing Area Elementary Team, including the greater Lansing area, Jackson and Grand Rapids.
Or
Detroit Area Elementary Team, including the greater Detroit area, Flint and Pontiac.

Upon admission to the Teacher Certification program, Secondary students are assigned to the Secondary Team which includes internships in the greater Lansing area, the greater Detroit area, Grand Rapids and Flint.
