It is the Donor’s particular desire that these funds are used to provide the greatest impact on individual students from disadvantaged circumstances in an effort to break generational poverty cycles. To qualify, candidates for this award must be admitted or provisionally admitted into a Teacher Preparation program in elementary, secondary or special education and able to demonstrate financial need.  Preference will be given to candidates who are among the first generation in their family to attend college and/or to single parents with financial responsibility for their children.
