These scholarships will be awarded to students intending to intern in an urban school and who demonstrate financial need. A completed application including resume, personal statement about teaching goals, and financial need is required for consideration. Describe financial need including educational loans, how you have accumulated debt, how you have financed college, jobs held, hours worked, etc., under the ‘Other Relevant Information’ in the Financial Need section. Students are encouraged to complete financial aid applications in the MSU financial aid office prior to applying for these scholarships since unmet need is primarily considered in awarding these scholarships.
