For a student admitted to the teacher education program who intends to pursue a degree in elementary education. Available to juniors, seniors and interns. The recipient must be a graduate of a Michigan high school.

About Margaret and Hazen Wilson
This scholarship honors Margaret and Hazen Wilson of Plymouth, Michigan. Margaret graduated from what was then Michigan State College in 1953 with a degree in elementary education. Hazen is a graduate of Lawrence Institute of Technology and a retired executive with Michigan Bell/Ameritech. Although Margaret never taught school, having married shortly after graduation and devoted herself to raising a family, she has been a lifelong advocate and supporter of education and specifically of Michigan State, with numerous MSU graduates in her extended family. |
