MSU Interns

Credit Earned Incentives For MSU Interns

Prospective students who have completed the 5th year Teacher Certification Internship Year at Michigan State may include 9 (nine) credits from the internship year as part of their MATC degree program, TE 801, TE 802, TE 804. For more information, please contact Dr. Paul Kurf, MATC Program Advisor (kurf@msu.edu or 517.884.1889). 

Additionally, students in the Teacher Preparation program who opt to complete an approved Study Abroad program during the summer prior to their Internship Year may take those credits (typically, TE 815 and TE 894) as a Graduate Student admitted to the MATC program, thus bringing 15 (fifteen) graduate credits (including credits taken during the Internship Year) into their program.
