Fenice B. Boyd, Ph. D. '96, is an Associate Dean for Teacher Education and associate professor of literacy at the University at Buffalo, SUNY. Boyd's research focuses on issues of diversity writ large; that is diversity as related to students' ethnic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds, academic abilities, instructional approaches, and curriculum materials.
