| Kristin Janka Millar, Project Co-Director - Kristin is a doctoral student in the Department of Teacher Education, and Undergraduate Coordinator/Advisor (Academic Specialist) and Assistant Outreach Coordinator responsible for K-12 outreach for the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies' (CLACS). Before coming to MSU in 2001, she was a fourth grade teacher in Michigan and has traveled widely throughout Latin America. Her research interests include: teacher learning, professional development, social studies education, global and international education and Latin American studies. Her research and work have focused on teacher professional development for internationalizing K-16 education, and teaching about Latin America in K-12 schools. She is the co-director for LATTICE - Linking All Types of Teachers to International, Cross-cultural Education. |
