Guofang Li is an associate professor of literacy education. Her research interests include home and community literacy practices of immigrant and minority groups, the interrelationship between minority literacy practices and mainstream schooling, and second language and literacy education. She has published two books and one monograph on minority home and community literacy practices and their interface with mainstream school practices. Her areas of expertise include: diverse learners; family/community/schools; literacy and literature; cultural studies and international (Asia and Canada).
