About the Project

The Partnership to Prepare Global and International Educators is a collaborative initiative to encourage and support global and international learning and teaching in the College of Education at MSU and local K-12 schools. The project is composed of four interrelated parts: a seminar series, support for six teacher education courses, a resource collection and a website and listserv. This partnership connects MSU departments/units, faculty and students and local schools and community members.

Ways you can participate:
- Send us your ideas and suggestions using the online feedback form
- Suggest resources to purchase for the resource collection through the online resource request form
- Annotate or write a review of a resource you recommend through the online review form

Funding

The Partnership to Prepare Global and International Educators is funded by a grant from the Longview Foundation for World Affairs and International Understanding. Additional support is provided by our partners at MSU and the community. Grants from Professional Development Network Funds from the Department of Teacher Education in the College of Education helped to seed and develop the project in 2006.

Project Team
The project team coordinates the seminar series, collaborates with course instructors, develops web-based curriculum, researches and annotates teaching resources and websites. About the project team.

Partners
This collaborative project draws on broad support from across the MSU campus and community. About our partners.

Advisory Committee

An advisory committee meets several times per year to provide guidance for the project. The advisory committee is composed of MSU faculty and staff from diverse departments and units, community members and teachers. About the advisory committee.
